ABOUT GRAIN STUDIO
Grain Studio is home to the work of Josh Ernst, a graphic artist with over 20 years of professional experience. We also take advantage of a select network of talented professionals to bring you the finest and most affordable creative solutions.
We chose the name Grain Studio because, like great design, wood grain is both familiar and unique at the same time. The studio is located in a renovated granary on a small ranch in the NE corner of the Minneapolis/St. Paul metro area.
Our studio serves a wide range of clients, including: entrepreneurs, start-ups, small to midsize companies, musicians, record labels, non-profits and other various organizations. We also work with other creative agencies on an as-needed basis, sometimes generating new concepts for one of their clients or helping them prepare their work for press or the web.

Josh is a graphic artist with over 20 years of professional experience. He specializes in identity design and printing. His time in the industry has taken him from Best Buy’s marketing department to running an art department Copycats Hi-Fi Media, the premier CD/DVD manufacturer in downtown Minneapolis. Josh has worked with a handful of Twin Cities based music and art magazines as well as several non profit organizations. He now serves a wide range of clients including; musicians, record labels, startups, small to midsize corporations and non profits. Josh also works with other creative agencies on an as-needed basis, sometimes generating new concepts for one of their clients or helping them prepare their work for press or the web.
